Acetabuloplasty Research | Pincer Impingement Treatment | FAI Surgery New York

A bony abnormality of the hip is known as FAI. Pincer impingement occurs when extra bone extends out over the normal rim of the acetabulum. Non-operative treatments for this condition include rest and physical therapy. When non-operative treatment fails, Dr. Benedict Nwachukwu recommends acetabuloplasty surgery to address any labral or cartilage pathology as well as to correct the bony abnormality.
