In Spring of 2019, the National Basketball Players Association (NBPA) selected Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) as the Official Hospital of the NBPA. The multi-year partnership provides current and retired professional basketball players with access to high quality preventative, surgical, rehabilitative, performance, and consulting services. HSS will also be named a Founding Partner of the NBPA’s state-of-the-art training facility that serves athletes at all levels.
Dr. Benedict Nwachukwu was selected to serve as as a medical consultant on the NBPA Medical Staff.
